Proposal Draft
This is my proposal to produce a media department ident by making an appropriate and well-presented animation.
The objective of my media ident is to make a good and appropriate animation to represent our Park Hall media department and whoever does the best and appropriate animation there animation will be represented as the Park Hall media department.
My vision of what I hope to achieve is that I produce a good media animation and how I hope to achieve it is by creating the letters for my media ident and then taking pictures and editing it on power director and then my media ident should be done.
I am currently at editing my animation and putting all the last bits together as I have took pictures of my letters coming together and making the word media and then my animation should be done and it should be good.
The next thing to do for my animation is that I am trying to find a background for my animation so it would make it look better and maybe get a better grade.
The difficulties that I had were making the letters out of play dough and then every time I tried to get a background for the green screen some of the letters would blend in with the background and make all of the letters blurry.
Final Proposal
This is my proposal to produce a Media department ident by making an appropriate and well-presented animation from play dough letters and making the letters come together and make the word Media.
The objective of my Media ident is to make a good and appropriate animation to represent our Park Hall Media department from play dough by the letters coming together and making the word Media which represents the Media department for the school and whoever does the best and appropriate animation, there animation will be represented as the Park Hall Media department.
My vision of what I hope to achieve is that I produce a good media animation and I hope to achieve a good grade such as a merit or maybe a distinction I will create it by creating the letters for my Media ident from play dough and then taking pictures and editing it on power director9 and then my Media ident will be done and ready to be graded.
I am currently at the stage of editing my animation and putting all the last bits together as I have took pictures of my letters coming together and making the word Media and then my animation will be done and I am aiming for a merit however I will probably improve it and try and get a distinction.
The next thing to do for my animation is trying to find a background for my animation so it would make my animation look better and I think it would improve my grade but every time I added a background the letters would blend in with the background because they are both the same colour so if I sort out my background colour and the colour of my play dough letters then hopefully I would get a better grade.
The difficulties that I had were making the letters out of play dough, but they won’t that difficult to make they just took a long time and then every time I tried to get a background for the green screen some of the letters would blend in with the background and make all of the letters blurry and the green letters would blend in with the background so I had to make the table green under the green screen so that it would be the same colour as the screen and make my ident look a bit better and more appropriate for the target audience who are the whole school because if I have a target audience to someone who is outside of the school then they won’t be able to check the Media Department because there is no point for them unlike the people that go to this school because they will be able to check the Media Department.

Animation Ident Research
When I came to researching other idents there were various sources I used for a guide line and ideas and they are as follows:
Ø Television
Ø Magazines
Ø YouTube
Ø Internet
There were lots of pieces of information that I extracted from each of the sources for example the ‘channel 4’ ident because all the objects come together and make the letter 4 which is relevant to my ident because the letters for my ident come together and make the word ‘Media’ which represents the Park Hall Media department.
We used the information that i gathered from websites such as the channel 4 website and got ideas from the channel 4 ident so our idea was made around the channel 4 ident but was changed a lot and our ident is letters coming together and made the word media.
I found all of these websites that I visited very helpful as they provided me with the information that I needed for my ident or for research as I used Wikipedia for research and channel 4 website and Google for images and on the other hand blogger was unreliable as blogger kept going down and messing up.
